​Ingredient Selection

​In selecting ingredients, I&S has exercised extreme care: the formulations contain several ingredients derived from upcycling (altogether reaching nearly 70%). The formulations do not contain petrochemical derivatives or silicones. The formulas are tested for heavy metals (Nickel, Chromium, Cobalt, and Cadmium) and do not contain animal-derived ingredients (also suitable for Vegans). They are not tested on animals as per current regulations. The fragrance, the antioxidant extract, the emulsifier, and the water are obtained by enhancing resources.

• ​ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVE: ​The active ingredient comes from the valorization of the agricultural food chain. In the organic production of blueberry jams, the fruit peel is not used. This part is the richest in antioxidants, and for this reason, I&S values it by using it in its products. Rich in anthocyanins, it helps combat damage from free radicals. Tested to demonstrate effectiveness against damage caused by UV radiation. Specifically, it comes from the Rigoni di Asiago supply chain.

• ​EMULSIFIER: ​the world's first cosmetic emulsifier obtained from algae. Due to ongoing climate changes, tons of Sargassum Fluitans/Natans algae are washed ashore along the Caribbean coasts each year, causing significant environmental damage. These algae are collected, and from them, natural molecules with emulsifying properties are extracted. The ingredient also has moisturizing properties for the skin.
• PROFUMO: ​Many molecules in the fragrance composition come from unused materials in the agricultural food chain (coffee, fruit).
• ACQUA: ​We use water obtained from the pressing of organic fruit, rich in trace elements. Our waters hydrate and maintain skin elasticity, respecting the osmotic gradient. They protect blood vessels and, together with the blueberry extract, protect against free radicals. The waters we use in our products are biologically active and fully maintain the natural components present and their synergies. The origin of the fruit is from the Mediterranean area and is traceable. The harvesting respects seasonal cycles. These ingredients described are common to all three serums. In the face and neck serum, a latest-generation hyaluronic acid has been included, which has also won significant awards for the innovation it brings. Born from the wise combination of various molecular weights, it allows for dual activity: on the surface, it provides a tightening and lifting effect due to the presence of high molecular weight molecules. Lower molecular weights penetrate deeper and stimulate collagen synthesis. The ability to penetrate deeply has been demonstrated by in vitro tests.

​We use “​SupremeHyal Relift” hyaluronic acid. ​One of the best available on the global market today. It reduces fine lines, increases skin firmness, and elasticity. The Neck Serum, particularly prone to loss of tone, contains a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid.
